Netball The Netball Club has a senior team and 4 junior teams. The Senior team competes in the Bury Ladies Netball League, Division 4. The Club was formed in 1994 after winning the National Maccabi Cup earlier in the year. Since that time, the Senior team has competed in the Bury league, winning promotion to Division 3 in 1998, a status they held onto for 4 years.
The Junior section has grown from strength to strength since it was formed 3 years ago. It caters for girls aged 9 to 13 and plays in the Stockport Junior Netball League. The section meets on a Monday night for training under the guiding hand of ex England player Louise Crolla. The matches take place on a Sunday, either in Oldham or Stockport. |
