Urgent Fundraising Appeal
Vandalism/Security Problem
We need your help in addressing a serious security issue that has arisen recently.
As you know, Manchester Maccabi provides an important focal point for the Community. The outdoor facilities of the centre are extremely important, in particular the artificial pitches which provide a crucial source of revenue for the club. Recently we have been experiencing a series of major security issues including vandalizing of the fencing around the pitches, anti-semitic daubings on the wall of the premises and general unruliness from youths in the area.
The total cost of enhancing the security provision is £25,000 plus VAT. Bury Council and Greater Manchester Police also both agree that swift action is needed. Consequently Manchester Maccabi Community and Sports Club now need to urgently raise £25000 plus VAT to arrest this problem and prevent it from escalating.

I am sure you will agree that the youth who use our facilities should be able to come to our centre to play sport and enjoy themselves without the fear or threat of other youths causing trouble for them. Our young people should not be afraid to visit the centre and these problems will be alleviated by these urgent security works.
Could you please therefore help us to combat this problem? Donations should be made payable to Manchester Maccabi Community and Sports Club. We would really like to raise the money for this project by July 1st at the latest so that we can start the work immediately.
